Cohlmeyer Architecture was engaged by the Canadian Government and by the Municipality of San Jose to assist with a revitalization program for the core of this Central American city of 1.5 million people.

Work was carried out on three key fronts:

  • Identification of current conditions and coordination of national and municipal planning initiatives;
  • Collaboration with the local development and finacial communities;
  • Design of catalytic (spin-off-generating) projects which will redefine 3 to 4 important districts in the downtown.
